You lookin’ for some real jazz with floor-appeal, boyo? Go no
further, for Jazz Heat Bongo Beat is here. A Ricky-Tick organised
bi-monhtly club night at Helsinki’s club Kuudes Linja, Jazz Heat
Bongo Beat brings together live performances by the label’s hottest
acts plus the diamondest jazz DJ action around. Given the right
opportunity, the club night will occasionally also travel into new
territories such as the Helsinki venues Kulttuuritalo (”the Culture
House”) which recently featured a Jazz Heat Bongo Beat crowd of
2000, and Korjaamo.

In addition to Ricky-Tick’s in-house names, Jazz Heat Bongo Beat
has featured the likes of Mulatu Astatke & The Heliocentrics, DJ
Nicola Conte, DJ Jazzman Gerald, Wahoo! DJs, plus many more. Get

Ricky-Tick’s Jazz Heat Bongo Beat club night ventures into Espoo on September 11. We present a true jazz extravaganza in the form of three live bands. Timo Lassy Band presents material from the celebrated “Round Two” plus more, the Jussi Lampela Nonet featuring Jukka Eskola showcases Lampela X Eskola (the ONLY scheduled live appearance thus far!), and the Olli Ojajärvi Trio rounds things up in style. On top of live things, DJ Matti Nives keeps it flowing for the duration.
