AUTEUR JAZZ: "TWO JAGUARS IN WARSAW" EP RT025
Auteur Jazz, a new addition to the Ricky-Tick roster led by producer-multi-instrumentalist Antti Hynninen, is gearing up for its debut release. The EP "Two Jaguars in Warsaw" features three tracks of far-reaching cinematic jazz for the floor. Release date in late October 2008.

Teppo "Teddy Rok" Mäkynen's hotly-tipped project The Stance Brothers strike back! Released in May 2008, the brand new 7" single features two Garage Jazz infused floor-fillers, 'Pick 'n' Roll' and 'Youth Groove'.

29.11.08 Jazz Heat Bongo Beat w/ Auteur Jazz live
On November 29 starting at 10pm, Jazz Heat Bongo Beat, the Ricky-Tick night at Helsinki's club Kuudes Linja, presents a live performance by Auteur Jazz. Appearing with a quintet of canny young jazzmen, the live incarnation of Auteur Jazz is a force to be reckoned with. Led by the project's mastermind Antti Hynninen on sax and flute, the comes through with both edge and depth. On stage, Hynninen is accmpanied with up-and-comng Helsinki jazz cats Joakim Berghäll (sax), Antti Kujanpää (piano), Eero Tikkanen (double bass), and Tatu Rönkkö (drums). The band will present tracks from their new release "Two Jaguars in Warsaw" and much more.
The club night will also feature DJ appearances by Matti Nives and Antti Eerikäinen, keeping the heat up by the means of go-getting dancefloor jazz, frisky latin stuff plus assorted hipster grooves.

The Five Corners Quintet are set to return very soon with "Hot Corner", their second full-lenght album for Ricky-Tick Records. The release date is November 14 (12.11. for Finland) with live dates to follow all over the place.
"Hot Corner" features 11 tracks, among them collaborations with vocalists Okou and the one and only Mr. Mark Murphy.
