In order to celebrate the release of his second album, “Round Two”, sax fantastic Timo Lassy gathers together a very special lineup for his Jazz Heat Bongo Beat release gig at Helsinki’s Korjaamo on November 14 2009. The tight Lassy Band will feature tough-as-nails additions in the likes of Jukka Eskola (trumpet), Mikko Mustonen (trombone), and Sami Pitkämö (vocals), to name but a few.
And the fun doesn’t end there. Club Soul Sides regular DJ Soul-Sami and Bongo Beat resident DJ Matti Nives heat up the floor pre and post the gig with rump shaking soul and jazz. Visual come courtesy of Tampere’s awarded National RGB VJs, and your host for the evening will be MC Paleface.
This one sounds like a biggie!
